April holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in Education and has five years of teaching experience in both public and private school settings. Her varied experience has helped her develop a well-rounded and versatile approach to supporting students with different learning styles and needs.
April is passionate about fostering a love of reading and has a special fondness for children’s literature. She enjoys helping students build their skills while gaining confidence in themselves as learners. One of her greatest rewards as an educator is watching a student grasp a challenging concept and seeing their confidence grow as a result.
Outside of the classroom, April enjoys spending time with her family, especially her new grandbaby! She is also kept entertained by her two crazy cats, Georgie and Charlie.
