Kristie Cowans earned a Bachelor of Science in Child Development with a minor in Fine Art from California State University, Fullerton. She also holds a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
With more than 18 years of experience teaching in primary-grade classrooms, Kristie is passionate about helping children become confident and enthusiastic learners. She finds it especially rewarding to help reluctant students discover the joy of learning and to challenge advanced students to reach the next level.
Outside the classroom, Kristie enjoys outdoor activities with her family and playing music with friends. She looks forward to partnering with families and supporting students at OC Learning Edge!
