Handwriting Heroes & Sight Word Wizards Combo Class

Overview

Handwriting Heroes uses the research-based Handwriting Without Tears curriculum. This portion of the class promotes correct pencil grip, name writing, along with teaching students proper number and letter formation and alignment techniques.

The curriculum utilizes a multi-sensory approach, engaging students in activities that stimulate their visual, auditory, and kinesthetic senses. This holistic approach helps children build strong motor skills and muscle memory, resulting in improved handwriting.
By emphasizing these foundational aspects, we ensure that students not only achieve legible handwriting but also build a strong foundation for efficient and effective writing skills.

Sight Word Wizards is designed to help students master the 90 Kindergarten Journeys High-Frequency Words, aimed towards enhancing reading fluency and vocabulary.

With a comprehensive approach to sight word instruction, this portion of the class ensures that students can easily recognize and read common words, setting them up for success in their reading journey.

Offered on:	Saturdays Session 1: 8 classes (September 9th – October 28th); Session 2: 8 classes (November 4th – December 23rd)

Start Time:	9:00-10:15 am
Cost:	Small Group Class (4-6 students): $35 per 75 min. class, per student. (Buy an 8 week session for $280)
